Job Title: Estimator – Architectural Metal

Location: Sheffield or surrounding areas
Remuneration: £35,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator – Architectural Metal will involve:
* Estimator position dealing with a high end range of architectural metal systems such as: balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases
* Carrying out take-offs from drawings and measurements to produce bills of quantities/price schedules
* Dealing with enquiries from various clients via phone calls and emails
* Preparing and submitting accurate and detailed tenders within the timeframe provided
* Following up all submitted tenders, receiving feedback from clients and updating records accordingly
* Conduct handover meetings passing secured projects to our production team
* Continue to develop relationships with clients to secure further business
* Liaising with colleagues to facilitate the progression of tenders and projects
* Producing estimates for projects ranging from £100k to £1m in value
The ideal applicant will be Estimator – Architectural Metal with:
* Must have estimating experience within the architectural metal market sector, dealing with balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases
* Must have sound Excel and AutoCAD skills
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
* Ideally will have experience dealing with commercial and residential projects
* Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously
