About the Client
Our Client is an established specialist construction subcontractor operating across drylining, steel framing systems (SFS), façades and related building packages.
The business works within technically demanding construction environments, combining specialist delivery expertise with strong commercial knowledge to deliver projects across the construction sector.
Roles/Responsibilities
Review enquiries, architectural drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
Carry out quantity take-offs and assist with the preparation of detailed cost estimates.
Request, review and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Identify tender clarifications, exclusions, commercial risks and potential opportunities.
Work closely with the pre-construction team to prepare accurate and competitive tender submissions.
Ensure tender documentation is clear, accurate and submitted within agreed deadlines.
Support tender handovers and maintain organised estimating records.
Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the estimating process.Qualifications
Previous experience in a Construction Estimator or similar estimating role.
Experience working for a specialist construction subcontractor would be advantageous.
Knowledge of drylining, steel framing systems (SFS), façades, ceilings or related construction packages is desirable.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, construction specifications and tender documentation.
Good numerical, analytical and commercial awareness.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Confident communication and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tender deadlines.Benefits
