Estimator – High-End Commercial Fit Out & Refurbishment (Flexible Working)
A leading design and build contractor, renowned for delivering some of London's most prestigious workplace environments, is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join its growing commercial team.
With an exceptional reputation in the market, this business specialises in delivering high-end commercial fit out and refurbishment projects across London and the South East. About the role: As Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new projects and supporting the continued growth of the business. You will be responsible for managing the tender process from initial enquiry through to final submission, working closely with pre-construction, design, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial fit out and refurbishment projects.
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
* Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
* Identifying value engineering opportunities and project risks.
* Attending client meetings and supporting presentations where required.
* Liaising closely with internal teams to ensure competitive and accurate submissions.
* Assisting with bid strategy and market intelligence.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Estimator within the fit out and refurbishment sector.
* Strong understanding of commercial office projects and CAT A/CAT B fit outs.
* Experience pricing high-end workplace and co-working environments would be highly advantageous.
* Excellent knowledge of subcontractor markets and supply chains.
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and collaborative environment
