Estimator – Main Contractor

Office-Based Role

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established main contractor in an office-based role, working five days a week.

The successful candidate will have solid estimating experience within the construction industry, ideally with a main contractor, and be confident pricing projects accurately and competitively.

The Role

* Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.

* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

* Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations.

* Identifying project risks, potential savings and commercial opportunities.

* Liaising with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the tender process.

* Ensuring tenders are completed accurately and submitted within deadlines.

About You

* Proven experience in an Estimator role within the construction industry.

* Ideally experienced working for a main contractor.

* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and costs.

* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

* Confident communicating with subcontractors, suppliers and colleagues.

* Able to manage workloads and meet deadlines effectively.
