Engage Talent Partners are working exclusively with our client just south of Aberdeen to source and recruit an Estimator.

The company operates in the oil and gas, nuclear, industrial and renewables sectors and you would be joining them during a very exciting time. The business has enjoyed a successful year to date with some high-profile contract wins and are looking for growth moving forward.

The main purpose of the role is to compile costs for bids and tenders, taking into consideration man hours, material costs and project deliverables. You will have experience in preparing detailed technical specifications ensuring the clients tender spec requirements are met.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage the tender process from initial enquiry through to submission.

* Work closely with the client as well as internal stakeholders including Sales, Commercial & Engineering.

* Calculate project costs considering man hours, material costs and project deliverables.

* Compile technical quotations for bids and tenders in line with client tender requirements.

* Prepare submission documents and ensure timely delivery.

* Promote company values in all dealings with other employees, clients, subcontractors and other external contacts.

* Understanding of contractual terms, conditions and risks.

* Contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety standards in accordance with company policy.

The ideal candidate will have a good technical understanding and relevant experience from a similar role. It would be an advantage if you had exposure to estimating around the electrical discipline. It would be great if you were well versed in MS Project and MS Excel.
