An exciting opportunity for an Estimator in London to join an established construction business, working on a diverse range of projects across the Healthcare, Cut & Carve and Commercial sectors. Job Description
Preparing accurate and competitive tenders as an Estimator for a wide range of construction projects across London, including Healthcare, Cut & Carve and Commercial schemes.
Producing detailed estimates and budgets, reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation to develop accurate project costs.
Managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission, ensuring all Estimator deadlines and commercial requirements are met.
Developing strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and consultants to obtain competitive quotations and support successful tender submissions.
Using Conquest estimating software to prepare, manage and review estimates, maintaining accurate tender documentation and commercial information throughout the estimating process.
Skills / Qualifications
Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of building and refurbishment projects.
Strong estimating and commercial knowledge, including construction costs, materials, subcontractor pricing, procurement and tendering.
Experience working across Healthcare, Cut & Carve and Commercial projects would be highly advantageous for this Estimator position.
Experience using Conquest estimating software is preferred, with knowledge of other construction estimating systems also considered.
Strong analytical, commercial and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple estimates, prioritise deadlines and work effectively with project stakeholders.
