Estimator – High-End Residential Projects
Location: Oxfordshire

We are currently working with an established, family-run main contractor based in Oxfordshire who are looking to appoint an Estimator to join their rapidly growing team.

Specialising in high-end residential new builds, extensions, and refurbishments, our client has built a strong reputation for delivering bespoke projects to an exceptional standard across Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As Estimator, you will play a key role within the pre-construction team, taking responsibility for preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting the successful delivery of luxury residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

* Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation

* Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations

* Produce bills of quantities and cost plans

* Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate

* Liaise closely with clients, architects, suppliers, and the wider project team

* Assist with procurement, budgeting, and project forecasting

* Work with modern systems and AI-supported processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

* Previous experience as an Estimator within the construction industry

* Experience within high-end residential projects is highly desirable

* Strong understanding of new builds, extensions, and refurbishment works

* Excellent numerical, commercial, and analytical skills

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office

* Positive attitude towards innovation and technology within construction

* Must be willing to embrace the use of AI and modern systems within the role
