We are working with an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Estates Supervisor with a Technical background and experience within a Hard FM Team

This role will be hybrid with on site and remote working expectation. The role will start ASAP for initially months and will be at Band 6.

Role Summary:

The role will be based at an organisation in the South of England with a specific focus on arranging, organising and implementing reactive maintenance works within time scales and budgets.

Key Role Highlights:

* Supervise and organise the directly employed maintenance staff and to provide team leadership and coordination to achieve a high standard of productivity, quality and workmanship at an economical cost to the organisation;

* Responsible for managing and supervising all the work that their team undertakes and ensuring that it is completed correctly and in accordance with statutory legislation, and appropriate guidance, Health Care standards (HTM, HBN, HGN etc.) and appropriate professional bodies, CIBSE, IET, IHEEM;

* Issue Permits to Work relevant to reactive tasks;

* Organise call outs and liaise with specialist contractors, Engineering leads, clinical leads for specialist systems fault call out visits;

* Supervise the satisfactory time keeping, conduct and standards of discipline for engineering staff and encourage co-operation and versatility across the trades;

* Responsible for coordinating the completion reactive and planned maintenance works to be in line with current or future KPIs;

* Review and audit work order sheets to ensure that all sections clearly document what has been done and/or what needs to be done to close out the work request;

* Undertake regular spot checks in plant rooms and ensure plant room inspections are being carried out by the tradesman/tradesmen who has been allocated to this task within the required time frame.
