Description:
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an Estates Neighbourhood Officer to join a Housing Association based in Barnsley on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Duties:
* Attending properties to carry out communal inspections and estate walkabouts
* Identifying and dealing with untidy gardens
* Dealing with breaches of tenancy regulations including anti-social behaviour
* Working alongside the Lettings Team regarding the assessment of applications
* Organising and assisting the community with minor environmental clean-up campaigns
* Completing and monitoring action plans and making referrals
Requirements:
* Experience of working in social housing including estate management and tenancy management
* Ability to understand and meet the needs of customers
* Understanding of community issues as well as current housing issues
