Estates Manager
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Think FE is recruiting an Estates Manager for a further education college in Worcestershire. This is an opportunity to take responsibility for the college’s facilities, leading the team and contractors who keep its campus safe, well maintained and ready for students and staff.
If you have experience managing estates or facilities, budgets and operational teams, this role offers scope to improve services and support more sustainable ways of working.
The role You will oversee the day-to-day estates operation, balancing maintenance and compliance requirements with longer-term improvements. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing facilities services and external contractors, monitoring KPIs, service level agreements and contractual compliance.
Overseeing campus safety, security, maintenance and statutory compliance.
Managing budgets, resources and estates projects.
Leading and developing staff to deliver a reliable, responsive service.
Driving service improvements and promoting sustainability.
Working with senior leaders and external providers to maintain high standards across the estate. What you’ll need
A recognised estates management qualification or significant relevant experience.
A vocational qualification in a facilities management-related discipline.
Substantial experience in senior operational management.
Experience managing budgets and staff.
A strong understanding of estates and facilities management, including health and safety.
