Description:
Estate Surveyor
Location: Norwich
Salary: £60,000
Job Type: Permanent About the Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Estate Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer to take responsibility for a varied range of estate management and valuation work.
We're recruiting an Estate Surveyor to join a Norwich-based property team, delivering valuations alongside wider estate and asset management services. The business brings together these complementary areas, offering the opportunity to see how your valuation advice translates into practical decisions about the management, use and future of property assets.
You'll work with colleagues and stakeholders on a range of property matters, combining analytical work with inspections, professional advice and relationship management. For someone who enjoys valuation and wants to retain variety in their work, this role offers scope to apply that expertise across the wider property lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional estate management advice across a portfolio of social housing assets, including leasehold and freehold properties
Carry out valuations, rent reviews, and lease renewals in line with RICS guidance and best practice
Advise on acquisitions, disposals, and land transactions to support the organisation's asset management strategy
Manage leasehold and right-to-buy/right-to-acquire matters, including boundary disputes and easements
Liaise with internal teams, tenants, solicitors, and external stakeholders on property and estate-related matters
Support the development pipeline by advising on land assembly, options, and site appraisals
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and RICS professional standards
Prepare reports and provide clear, commercially sound recommendations to senior stakeholders
