EHS Specialist (6-Month Contract)
Location: Coventry
Contract: 6 Months
Rate: £25 - £29 p/h PAYE (Umbrella also an option)
We're seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to support our Health, Safety and Environmental programme on a 6-month contract basis in Coventry. You'll play a key role in maintaining compliance, driving continuous improvement, and promoting a positive safety culture within a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
Advise managers and employees on EHS best practices and compliance requirements.
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
Deliver EHS training and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor environmental performance and support sustainability goals.
Analyse and report EHS metrics and drive corrective actions.
About You:
NEBOSH-qualified (or equivalent) with an environmental qualification such as IEMA or IOSH.
Experience managing or supporting ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and risk management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proactive, organised, and confident influencing change across the business.
