Description:

ESG and Investor Relations Associate

Are you an entrepreneurial, hands-on individual with a passion for ESG and a keen interest in investor relations? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to advance an established ESG agenda and assist with broader fundraising and investor-related matters within a dynamic private equity environment.

In this role, you will report to both the Investor Relations Director and the Portfolio Director, working closely with the Investor Relations Director, Portfolio Team, and portfolio companies. Over the past two years, significant resources have been dedicated to developing an enhanced ESG framework. This position will allow you to drive the ESG agenda, deliver results, and develop data-driven reporting capabilities for investors.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the Investment Committee in managing the ESG agenda, liaising with portfolio company management to set targets and collect information, producing digestible reporting for investors, responding to investor questionnaires on ESG, and ensuring compliance with market standards and regulatory requirements. You will also support the investment team to integrate ESG considerations into their processes and complete annual UNPRI and SFDR reporting.

On the investor relations side, you will assist the Investor Relations Director with all aspects of fundraising processes and investor relationship maintenance. This includes preparing investor communications and marketing materials, updating existing materials, tracking investor interactions, responding to ad-hoc queries, and assisting with AGM documentation preparation.

To be successful in this role, you should have relevant experience (recent graduates with a relevant degree will also be considered), an excellent academic record, impeccable attention to detail, and strong organisational and time-management skills. You should be a confident team player, a self-starter, flexible and adaptable, with excellent analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required, and CRM experience and exposure to private equity or alternative investments are advantageous. A keen interest in ESG and the ability to grow internal expertise in this area are essential.

If you are passionate about ESG and investor relations and are looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced and supportive environment, apply now to join the team and help shape the future of sustainable investment practices within the clients business.

In return on offer is a competitive base salary and benefits package, including a discretionary bonus, private medical insurance, gym membership, and 25 days of annual leave.
