Seeking a highly skilled and experienced ESG Interim Consultant to lead the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives and drive the sustainability efforts forward. Job Summary: The ESG Interim Consultant will be responsible for developing, executing, and reporting on our ESG initiatives. This role involves taking full ownership of the company’s sustainability projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement in our environmental, social, and governance practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ESG initiatives, reporting, and sustainability certifications, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities:

ESG Strategy Development and Implementation:
* Develop and implement comprehensive ESG strategies aligned with the company's mission and goals.
* Identify key ESG priorities and set measurable objectives and targets.
* Integrate ESG considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.

Initiatives and Project Management:
* Design, manage, and execute ESG initiatives and projects across the organization.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG principles into product development, supply chain management, and corporate operations.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ESG initiatives and recommend improvements.
3.
Reporting and Compliance:
* Develop and maintain a robust ESG reporting framework.
* Prepare and present regular ESG performance reports to stakeholders, including senior management and investors.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant ESG regulations and standards.
4.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote ESG awareness and collaboration.
* Represent the company in ESG-related forums, conferences, and industry groups.
* Foster partnerships with NGOs, industry bodies, and other relevant organizations.
5.
Training and Development:
* Provide training and support to employees on ESG best practices and initiatives.
* Promote a culture of sustainability and corporate responsibility within the organization.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG strategy development, implementation, and reporting within the pharmaceutical or related sector.
* Proven track record of leading successful ESG initiatives and achieving sustainability certifications (e.g., B Corp).
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* In-depth knowledge of ESG standards, regulations, and best practices.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
