My client an international manufacturing business in Wakefield are looking to recruit an ERP Systems Manager.
** 90% office, 10% home working **
** Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 **
This is a brand-new role, and as the business continues to grow they require a talented ERP Systems Manager to oversee the optimisation and maintenance of their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
As the ERP Systems Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless functioning, enhancement, and integration of our ERP systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align business processes with system capabilities, driving efficiency and productivity throughout our manufacturing operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance of the ERP system to meet the unique needs of the manufacturing environment
Work closely with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to identify system requirements, streamline processes, and improve data accuracy
Manage the implementation of ERP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules
Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of manufacturing-related data
Provide training and support to end-users, including production staff and supervisors, to optimise system utilisation and effectiveness
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations
We are keen to speak with ERP/Business System experts who possess the following skills & experience:
Proven experience of managing ERP systems in a manufacturing/logistics environment, with knowledge of industry-specific modules such as production planning, inventory management, and quality control
Strong technical proficiency in ERP system configuration, customisation, and integration, with experience in platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Epicore or Microsoft Dynamics.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in identifying and resolving manufacturing process inefficiencies
SQL and script-writing skills and experience
