Description:

Our client, a dynamic leader in the field of HR solutions, is currently seeking an ER Specialist on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in managing employee relations across the UK, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies, and mitigating legal risks in adherence to UK employment law.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a high volume of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, investigation, and appeal matters.
Provide expert guidance on the application of company policy, contractual obligations, and UK employment law.
Oversee end-to-end case management to ensure timely progress and robust documentation.
Support managers in handling complex and sensitive conduct matters.
Align employee relations processes with the ACAS Code of Practice to minimise legal and reputational risk.
Produce and maintain dashboards and management information to identify trends and support decision-making.
Design and deliver training and guidance materials to upskill line managers.
Develop best-practice templates and workflows to support consistency and capability across the HR team.

Job Requirements:

Significant experience managing complex employee relations cases in the UK.
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, ACAS guidance, and best practices.
Experience advising and coaching managers on sensitive and high-risk matters in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability in facilitating training workshops on employee relations best practices.
Excellent management and investigation skills, with a focus on risk assessment and documentation quality.
Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills, with the ability to drive consistent decision-making.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for drafting clear outcomes, guidance notes, and training materials.
Bachelor's degree in Business or similar fields; CIPD qualification to level 5 is beneficial.
