ER Case Manager (Employee Relations)

6 month FTC

Based in Birmingham

Hybrid Working Pattern

Paying Up to £45k + Benefits

Our client, a reputable organisation, based in Birmingham, is looking for an experienced and dedicated ER Case Manager to join their team on a fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your expertise in employee relations and make a significant impact within a complex and diverse organisation.

As an ER Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex cases, providing guidance and support to employees and line managers in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary responsibility will be to handle a broad range of employee relations cases, including but not limited to disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and absence management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a wide range of ER cases, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant employment legislation.
Provide professional advice, guidance, and support to employees and managers on employee relations matters.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders including HR Business Partners, line managers, and trade unions to resolve employee relations issues effectively.
Conduct thorough investigations, keeping accurate records and producing detailed reports.
Lead and participate in meetings and hearings, providing clear and concise advice to stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering a positive working environment.Requirements:

Proven experience as an ER Case Manager, working with complex organisations.
CIPD qualification or equivalent.
A solid understanding of employment law and employee relations practices.
Previous experience in handling disciplinary, grievance, and other employee relations cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload.
