ROLE OVERVIEW

Are you an experienced Employee Relations Advisor looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic HR team? An exciting interim role has arisen for an ER Advisor to join a leading organisation based in the Hertfordshire area. This role offers the chance to work closely with managers and employees, providing pragmatic and risk-based advice to ensure fair and consistent management of employee relations matters.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the ER Advisor will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead and manage a broad range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, grievances, performance management, and absence management.
2. Conduct investigations, hearings, and appeals, coaching managers on best practices and preparing all associated paperwork.
3. Ensure employee relations matters are managed consistently and fairly, in line with employment legislation and internal policies.
4. Build and maintain effective relationships with business managers, employee representatives, and trade unions where applicable.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the ER Advisor, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
2. Extensive experience handling employee relations cases independently.
3. Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and ACAS Codes of Practice.
