Job Summary:
The client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Eplan Engineer to join our team for a project based in Sweden. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Eplan software and electrical design, as well as a strong background in industrial automation. This role involves working closely with our clients to develop and implement electrical control systems, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed electrical designs and schematics using Eplan software.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliverables.
* Create and maintain project documentation, including wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and bill of materials (BOM).
* Perform electrical calculations and ensure designs meet relevant safety and regulatory standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve design issues during the development and implementation phases.
* Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to support project decisions.
* Ensure timely completion of design tasks and deliverables within project timelines.
* Provide on-site support during installation, commissioning, and testing phases as needed.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and Eplan software developments.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Eplan Engineer or in a similar role within the industrial automation sector.
* Proficiency in Eplan Electric P8 and other Eplan software modules.
* Strong understanding of electrical design principles, control systems, and automation technologies.
* Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in automotive or aerospace industries.
* Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial communication protocols.
* Proficiency in additional CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
