Your Next Challenge

We’re looking for an experienced ERP Financials Consultant to join a growing ERP consultancy, working with customers to get greater value from their Epicor investment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines a strong finance and accounting background with ERP implementation experience. You might already be an experienced Epicor Financials Consultant, or you could have worked with another comparable ERP platform and be interested in developing your career within Epicor Kinetic.

You’ll work directly with customers, understanding how their finance functions operate, identifying opportunities for improvement and translating those requirements into practical ERP solutions.

The Role

As an ERP Financials Consultant, you’ll take ownership of the finance workstream across implementations, upgrades and optimisation projects.

You'll work closely with Finance Directors, Financial Controllers, project teams and other functional consultants to understand current processes, design future-state solutions and ensure the system supports both financial control and wider business objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading finance discovery and requirements-gathering workshops

* Understanding and documenting as-is and to-be finance processes

* Configuring and implementing Epicor Financials functionality

* Translating accounting and business requirements into effective ERP solutions

* Supporting General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets and financial reporting

* Working across multi-company and multi-currency environments where required

* Supporting costing, budgeting, reporting and period-end processes

* Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline financial processes

* Producing functional specifications and solution documentation

* Supporting data migration, reconciliation and validation

* Developing test scenarios and supporting UAT

* Delivering customer training and supporting go-live

* Working alongside technical, manufacturing and supply-chain consultants to deliver joined-up solutions

* Providing ongoing optimisation and consultancy following implementation

What We're Looking For

We’re particularly interested in someone with a genuine finance background, rather than purely technical ERP experience.

Ideally, you'll have:

* Experience implementing or supporting ERP Financials

* Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance processes

* Experience working with Epicor Kinetic/Epicor ERP would be highly advantageous

* Alternatively, experience with a comparable ERP such as Infor, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, SAP Business One, Sage X3, IFS, JD Edwards or Oracle

* Experience gathering requirements and running customer workshops

* Strong functional and process-mapping capability

* Experience across the ERP implementation lifecycle

* Confidence working directly with Finance Directors, Controllers and senior stakeholders

* Strong communication and customer-facing skills

A background in accounting, finance or financial management, including experience working within a finance team before moving into ERP consultancy, would be particularly attractive.
