Job Title: Environmental Science Graduate

Salary: £29,000

Hours: 40 hours per week

Programme Duration: 2 years programme

Candidate shortlisting will take place W/C 24th June 2024 and the Virtual assessment day will take place between W/C 1st July 2024.

Graduate Programme

During this programme, you'll gain valuable insight into our services and strategic projects and we'll help you to further develop your skills and knowledge so that you can succeed in your career. You'll also join our graduate network and receive our continued support throughout.

You will be supporting and developing projects across the Total Waste Management portfolio, whilst developing an understanding of the role of the SCM and CM.

We're strong believers in continuous development here at Veolia and actively encourage and support everyone to keep going after you finish the programme.

What will you be doing?

- Innovation and Development support

- IT development (Supporting integration of Customer Hub)

- Introducing Sustainability Reporting - Carbon Footprint/Electric Vehicles

- Develop an understanding of how Total Waste Management works across Customer sites

- Supporting projects to automate reporting

- Undertaking Duty of Care audits on 3rd Party sites

- Understanding the roles within Total Waste Management from Operative to Senior Contract Manager

What are we looking for?

- Degree level qualification in Science or Environmental based subject (to be achieved by Sept 2024)

- IT Skills

- Presentation Skills

- Driving licence

- Working knowledge of Google systems (Desirable)

- Waste Management or environmental knowledge (Desirable)
