Description:
We are urgently recruiting Environmental Officers in all fields, including Licencing, Street Trading, Food Waste Management and Health & Safety, across London.
Successful candidates will carry out the full range of enforcement responsibilities to support the work of local authorities.
Experience/Skills & Knowledge:
* Knowledge of all enforcement legislations
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Be able to work productively to own initiative
* Be able to analyse numerical data, verbal data and all other sources of information
* Demonstrate and understand detailed technical expertise
* Have ability to deal with various stakeholders
Main duties (may vary depending on the role)
* Providing professional advice
* Writing reports
* Initiate and carry out enforcement and legal processes
* Attending site visits and inspections
* Attend court if needed
Level and range of responsibilities the successful candidate will be expected to undertake, may be changed from time to time to reflect changing circumstances and demands.
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday positions available
Pay rates: £17-£35/h – depending on experience & position
