Up to £38,000 (depending on experience)
Monday – Friday (Days/On-site)
This is an exciting new opportunity, to join a well established and market leading company, in the Telford area. They are looking to recruit for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety officer, who has strong working knowledge within a manufacturing company. This will be based within the HR department at the company, working as an individual to improve the EHS on site.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:
* Performing site audits ensuring compliancy with ISO14001
* Completing legislation and compliance paperwork
* Evaluating production ergonomics
* Carrying out ‘new starter’ site inductions
* Liaising with facilities department to complete site checks
* Introducing corrective issues to any Environment and Health & Safety concerns
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role such as SHE / HSE / ESH officer or advisor or manager
* Previous experience of working in a similar capacity within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
* Good working knowledge of ISO14001
* Experience of conducting internal and external audits
* A self-motivated individual who must be able to work on their own initiative
