Are you an Environmental Compliance or Environmental Management specialist from the water industry looking to lead the environmental standards on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects?

Do you want to join a growing utility infrastructure contractor who will pay for your chartership and offer long term job security across a business that keeps winning new work?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-utility infrastructure company delivering across water, electricity, gas, fibre and telecoms, in a newly created role based on the Sizewell C project following a major contract win.

Alongside leading environmental delivery on a nationally significant scheme, you will receive full support for your professional development, including funded chartership, refreshed qualifications and access to a wide range of training courses, with genuine progression and sidestep opportunities as the wider group continues to grow.

This role would suit an Environmental Compliance or Environmental Management professional from a water or utilities background who wants ownership of the environmental agenda on a landmark project, and the backing of a business that invests heavily in its people.

The Role:

* Lead on the delivery of environmental standards for the client across the Sizewell C site
* Manage the SZC abstraction licence conditions and adherence to the Industrial Emissions Directive for on site construction activities
* Promote robust and sustainable practices through planned measures, guidance and onsite activities focused on continuous improvement
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulation and support clients with their own auditing processes
* Monday-Friday, 5 days a week on site

The Person:

* Environmental management or environmental compliance experience
* Water industry experience
* Familiar with laboratory techniques
* Undergraduate degree in a scientific subject
* Commutable to Leiston, Suffolk or willing to relocate
