Texo Recruitment are recruiting for a Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator on behalf of Texo Group based in Westhill Aberdeenshire.
Purpose of the Role:
To strengthen TEXO’s own performance in relation to net zero transition.
This role will support TEXO to carry out administrative and research activities to allow development and delivery of a net zero action plan for the business. It will require engagement with multiple personnel, departments, and stakeholders, ranging from the Board of Directors through to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Collection and analysis of emission data for previous and current years.
* Production of baseline data.
* Creation and review of a net zero action plan including target setting..
* Identify key emissions areas and determine strategies for reduction.
* Contribute to the presentation of a high-level case for any capital expenditure required to achieve identified
reductions.
* Identify potential funding avenues and support applications where relevant.
* Implement agreed reduction strategies and provide ongoing monitoring activities.
* Ongoing review and monitoring of emissions performance making efficiencies in data collation.
* To raise awareness of and engagement with net zero and wider sustainability issues across a range of
audiences and stakeholders.
* To liaise with equivalent roles across the sector and adviser on net zero to ensure alignment with best practice and to share learnings.
* Additional ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as reasonable requested by line manager.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
* Graduate in an energy transition or similar field or 2 years’ experience in similar role.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
* Able to manipulate and analyse data, including numerical, financial, and technical data.
* Passion for sustainability knowledge of key frameworks and regulations.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Competent with common software packages e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
