The Role
As an entry-level warehousing candidate, you will be guided through various aspects of the logistics field under the mentorship of our experienced professionals. The programme focuses on specific knowledge around working within the sector. Through completion of the programme all candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of what is needed to thrive in a warehousing role.
Key areas for development
During your time with us, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in the logistics sector and to learn to demonstrate and share new and existing skills. You will improve your ability around warehousing and storage including receiving goods and preparing for dispatch including recording keeping. You will also have the chance to enhance your customer service skills and you will also have an understanding of the health an Safety protocols.
Responsibilities
· General manual handling.
· A good communicator who works well individually within a wider team environment.
· Order Picking.
· Locating stock including checking on stock and record keeping.
· Use scanners and computers for picking and despatching.
· Work within the Health and Safety guidelines including keeping areas clean, safe and well maintained.
