Exciting Opportunity for a brand new Finance and Logistics Assistant!

We are currently partnering with a leading Interior Design firm in Chessington, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join their team as an Entry Level Finance and Logistics Assistant. In this role, you will provide crucial support to their Finance Manager, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes.

What your role will involve:

Collaborating closely with the Finance Manager to provide administrative support, assisting them in their duties with speed and accuracy.
Assisting in the purchasing process, from order placement to following up and ensuring timely delivery.
Managing the logistics of moving goods from the manufacturers to their warehouses in the UK and the Netherlands and ultimately to their valued clients.
Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes.
Scanning, filing, and logging accounts documents, while keeping their computerised accounting systems up to date.
Maintaining manufacturer's price lists.
Proactively identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the finance and logistics department.To excel in this role, you will need:

An understanding of Sage 50 accounts software (desirable)
Strong mathematical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
The ability to work collaboratively in a small, yet dynamic team.
Initiative and flexibility, as well as an open-minded approach.
Meticulous attention to detail.This is a full-time, permanent position based at their offices in Chessington. You will enjoy a five-day workweek, from 9am to 5.30pm, with an hour lunch break. Please note that remote work opportunities are not available as the team thrives in a collaborative office environment.
