Up to £50,468 (FTE) including London Weighting (pro rata for part-time)

Contract
Permanent | 39 Weeks per Year

We're recruiting passionate English Teachers and Maths Teachers to join a nationally recognised specialist education provider supporting young people aged 16-25 with SEND.

This is a unique opportunity to teach in inspiring learning environments including museums, galleries and cultural spaces, delivering Functional Skills and GCSE programmes through engaging, creative and personalised teaching.

The Role

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality English or Maths teaching while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary campus team to provide exceptional outcomes for neurodivergent learners.

Responsibilities include:

Deliver Functional Skills (Entry Level-Level 2) and GCSE English or Maths
Plan engaging, differentiated lessons using creative teaching approaches
Create neuro-affirming, trauma-informed learning environments
Monitor learner progress through ILPs and EHCP outcomes
Support students' emotional wellbeing and independence
Work closely with Programme Support teams and wider curriculum colleagues
Contribute to safeguarding, pastoral care and student success
Build learning opportunities linked to cultural and community partnerships

We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

QTS or a recognised Level 5 teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DET or equivalent)
Experience teaching English or Maths within Further Education or specialist SEND provision
Experience supporting neurodivergent learners including Autism, ADHD and EHCP students
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice
Passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning
