We are seeking an experienced GCSE English tutor to work with a student who has an EHCP
About the Student
· He is incredibly literal in his understanding and struggles to interpret what exam questions are asking.
· In his last exam, he missed the 40-mark extended writing question.
· He requires clear, structured, and patient support to help him build confidence and exam technique.
Requirements
· Must have experience supporting students with SEN/ASD.
· Ability to break down exam questions into manageable steps and teach strategies for understanding what is being asked.
· Strong communication skills, with a focus on literal and explicit instruction.
· In-person tuition only.
Details
· Where: In-person sessions (location details to be provided).
· Focus: GCSE English Language , exam technique, comprehension, and extended writing practice.
