Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students, fostering a love for literature and language. You will have the opportunity to teach across various key stages, contributing to the academic success and personal development of your students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students of varying abilities
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and school events
* Support students’ social and emotional growth, providing guidance and encouragement
* Stay updated with the latest educational trends and best practices in English teaching
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* A degree in English or a related field
* Proven experience teaching English at secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
* Ability to inspire and motivate students
Desirable:
* Experience teaching A-Level English
* Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum
* Experience with special educational needs (SEN)
