Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Bolton that is looking for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys inspiring young people, building positive relationships and helping pupils develop their confidence in English Language and Literature.
The school offers the opportunity to make a real difference to pupils' education, supporting them to develop their reading, writing, analytical and communication skills. You'll be joining a secondary setting where engaging lessons, consistent classroom expectations and supporting pupils to reach their potential are key parts of the role.
The Role
Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
Preparing GCSE pupils for their examinations, helping them build confidence and improve their outcomes.
Creating a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, progress and a genuine interest in English.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature.
Confident classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
