Are you passionate about teaching English and inspiring students to excel in language skills? Supply Desk are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher that is looking for work in the area of High Wycombe.

Location: High Wycombe

Start Date: September 2024

Duties vary widely but can include:

Develop and implement engaging English lessons that align with curriculum guidelines.
Cultivate an inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning for all students.
Employ both formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and growth.
Offer constructive and timely feedback highlighting strengths and areas for improvement, guiding students towards academic success.
Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Effectively communicate with students, parents, and peers.
Cultivate a passion for literature by exploring diverse genres and authors.
Utilise technology and digital tools to enhance learning and promote digital literacy skills.
Establish clear behaviour and academic expectations, fostering a positive and respectful classroom culture.
Encourage collaboration and peer interaction through group activities, cooperative learning, and inclusive discussions.
The Successful candidate will have:

Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Prior experience of working within the education sector
Good knowledge of the Religious Studies curricular
Ability to commute to High Wycombe and the surrounding areas
