Job Duties:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
Develop and implement lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
Keep accurate records of student attendance and performance
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English or related field
Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
Valid DBS check
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated experience in teaching English to students of varying abilities
Strong knowledge of the English language, literature, and grammar
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire students
Organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in English or Education
Experience working with diverse student populations
Additional teaching certifications or specialisations
Working Conditions:
Work primarily in a classroom setting
Regular working hours with occasional evenings and weekends for meetings or events
Collaboration with other teaching staff and school administration
