ECT/NQT Induction can be supported if you're a recently qualified English TeacherAn English Teacher is needed in a Non-Selective/Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.
This English Teacher role will be full time and permanent.
If appointed as an English Teacher you will be required to teach KS3 to KS4 English.
The ability to teach KS5 English would be advantageous but isn't essential in order to be considered for this English Teacher role.
Standard responsibilities apply to this English Teacher position. These include but aren't limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupils progress and attending team meetings/parents evenings.
Salaries for this English Teacher post will be between £34514 to £51179, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.
The School
A 'Good' Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form with Health Science Specialism.
There is an expanded curriculum specifically for PE, Sport, Food Technology and Hospitality & Catering.
Personal Development and Sixth Form Provision were both judged as 'Outstanding' during the last Ofsted inspection.
Other areas/provisions that were observed positively were High Expectations, Well-Designed Curriculum, Broad Extra Curricular Programmes, as well as Welcoming, Inclusive and Safe Community.
Requirements
You're encouraged to apply if you're a recently qualified English Teacher or experienced English Teacher.
