Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary school in Lewisham, Southeast London (inner London), looking for a permanent Teacher of English to start in September 2024. TLR is available for the right candidate.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced English teacher or ECT with QTS/QTLS to contribute to the Academy’s continued success.
You will be joining a highly skilled English team where teachers are committed to ensuring that students are successful and achieve their full potential. You will be passionate about English and have a resolve to make a real difference to the pupils and will be able to plan and deliver interesting and stimulating lessons.
Setting a level of challenge for all abilities across all key stages 3, 4 and 5 within lessons and the thriving extracurricular activities already on offer will be of importance to you. A keen interest/experience in Gifted & Talented, SEN and Assessment for Learning initiatives is essential.
