As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping students' language and literacy skills, fostering their love for literature, and helping them become effective communicators. Responsibilities as an English Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons to students of varying abilities.
Explore diverse literary works and encourage students to analyse and interpret them.
Develop students' reading, writing, and communication skills.
Provide constructive feedback and support to enhance students' progress.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
Requirements for the role:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Specialization in English or related subject area.
Experience teaching English at the secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the curriculum requirements.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
