GSL Education Kent are offering a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a dynamic school in Medway. The English Teacher role presents a unique chance to ignite students' passion for reading, writing, and communication while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

As an English Teacher, you will lead engaging and interactive lessons that explore the richness of language, literature, and literacy skills. You will inspire students to express themselves creatively, think critically, and develop confidence in their communication abilities.

English Teacher Responsibilities:

- Craft and deliver captivating English lessons that cover a diverse range of literary genres, writing styles, and language techniques.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
- Utilise innovative teaching strategies and resources to engage students in active learning and foster a love for reading and writing.
- Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to support their development and academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate English skills with other subject areas.

Requirements for the English Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in English, Literature, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a track record of inspiring students and achieving positive outcomes.
- A deep passion for English language and literature, along with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and excellence in education.
