Position - Teacher of English

Location - Mid Kent

Start Date - September 2024

Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with an excellent Grammar School in the Mid Kent area to recruit a Teacher of English for a full time role commencing in September 2024! The role will consist of teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 students - salary of between £30,000 and £46,525 depending on experience.

The role:

Create and deliver high quality English lessons across all secondary Key Stages - KS3, KS4 and KS5
Prepare students for GCSE and A Level exams ensuring they meet or exceed expected grades
Attend Departmental meetings and parents evenings when required
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events when requiredRequirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience of teaching secondary aged students is essential
Strong behaviour management skills ensuring the students remain on task and achieve their full potential
Excellent subject knowledge and a real enthusiasm for teaching and learning
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
