TeacherActive are proud to be working with a boy’s faith school who are currently seeking a English Teacher. The school has a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating and is highly regarded in the local area. It has great transport links, and an accessible staff car park. The successful English teacher will promote the school's Catholic ethos and vision, adhering to educational developments, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
The school is keen to take on a long-term English Teacher with the potential for this to become permanent working with Key Stage 3 / KS3 up to Key Stage 5 / KS5. This includes exam preparation and encouraging a career mindset and employability. Additional duties for the successful English Teacher will involve contributing to the school’s policy development, maintaining subject expertise, and supporting pupil standards in a personal and academic capacity.
The successful English Teacher will have:
QTS with English specialism
Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 5 / KS5
Exceptional classroom management and presence
