We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational English Teacher to join the English department of a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Totton, Hampshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher looking to join a supportive school community where staff are encouraged to develop professionally and make a real difference to students' lives.

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire students to develop a love of reading, writing and literature.
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of students with a range of abilities.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and English department.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice.
Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and personal development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
