Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Lancing, West Sussex September start
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and student engagement.
Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement a comprehensive English curriculum that aligns with educational standards and objectives.
Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Specialism in English language and literature.
Experience teaching English at the secondary level is desirable but not essential.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
