About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a schools in Sheffield and Rotherham, starting in September 2024. This role is ideal for a teacher who is committed to fostering a love of literature and language among students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective English lessons in line with the British education curriculum.
Plan and prepare lessons that cater to the diverse abilities of students.
Assess, track, and report on students' progress.
Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
Participate in and contribute to the school's academic and extracurricular programmes.
Requirements:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Have a strong knowledge of the English curriculum and a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching.
Be passionate about teaching and dedicated to student success.
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
