Description:
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to join our supply agency and work across a range of secondary schools in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible working arrangements, whether you're seeking day-to-day supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements, or your next permanent position.
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons, supporting students' academic progress, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
* Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with GCSE experience desirable.
* Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different abilities and learning styles.
* Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
* Assess and monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback.
* Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
* Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
* Support students in developing their literacy, communication and analytical skills.
* Maintain high expectations of student behaviour, achievement and engagement.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of the English curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
* A passion for teaching and supporting students to achieve their potential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
