Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and shaping the future generation? We are seeking a dedicated English teacher to join a vibrant secondary academy located in the heart of Somerset.
Position: English Teacher
Duration: ASAP or for the summer term until the end of the academic year or permanent for the right educator
Subject Levels: English at KS3 and KS4
Availability: Flexible, both full-time and part-time positions considered
As an English teacher at the recently renovated academy, you'll have the opportunity to:
Engage and motivate students in the exploration of literature, language, and critical thinking
Foster a love for reading, writing, and communication skills in our learners
Deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students
Collaborate with colleagues to create an enriching and supportive learning environment
Support students in their academic progress and personal development. Requirements for an English Teacher:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Right to work in the UK
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
Strong communication skills and a passion for education
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Marking and planning in line with the national curriculum
