English Teacher – Salisbury, Wiltshire
All Together Education Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Salisbury seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher.
We are looking for someone who can inspire a love of reading, develop confident writers and help pupils achieve their potential.
The role:
• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons
• Develop pupils’ reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills
• Support examination preparation and deliver targeted interventions
• Adapt lessons for pupils with different abilities and learning needs
• Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Work collaboratively on curriculum planning and teaching resources
The successful candidate:
• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Strong knowledge of English Language and Literature
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• High expectations for pupil progress
• A commitment to inclusive teaching and safeguarding
