Tradewind Secondary have supported this large, popular Secondary Academy for a number of years and are now looking to appoint an English Teacher following the Christmas break and teach across Key stages 3,4 and / or 5 with a view to committing on a permanent basis from as early as December 2024.

The school are based short walk from Welwyn Garden City Station (10 minutes) and offers modern facilities and long term career progression. Pupils come from a non selective background and wide catchment, they behave well with disruptions tending to be low level and supported well with the schools behaviour policy. Teachers here work hard for their pupils, who enjoy learning and benefit from a full Google suite and chromebooks for all pupils. The English department has always been a popular subject and the staff within the department are no exception. Spread across a range of experiences the HOD operates an open door policy and shares an equal load across the timetables.
