Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-time, Long-term (with the potential to become permanent)
Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS) for long-term placements or competitive daily rates for daily supply.
Academics is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Bradford. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students and help them develop a love of English Language and Literature.

The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Differentiate learning to support pupils of all abilities.
Assess, monitor and record student progress.
Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve student outcomes.
Attend departmental meetings and parents' evenings for long-term roles.
Requirements
To be considered, you will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching English within UK secondary schools.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for education.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
