English and Maths Teachers – Burton upon Trent
Position: Day-to-day Supply, Short-term Supply, and Long-term Placements
Pay: £116.56 – £180.67 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: As soon as possible

The Supply Register is proud to work in partnership with local schools to recruit dedicated English and Maths Teachers for schools across Burton upon Trent. As part of our exclusive talent pool, you will have the opportunity to work within secondary school settings on a flexible basis, covering both short-term and long-term vacancies.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective English or Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
Support students in developing their subject knowledge, skills, and confidence.
Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil achievement and development.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Follow school policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
Specialism in English or Maths with experience teaching within a UK secondary school.
Enhanced DBS: Must be registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
Passion for Education: A strong commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Communication Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Classroom Management Skills: Confidence in managing a classroom environment and promoting positive behaviour.
