***Providing 1:1 and small group support to GCSE English students.
***An enthusiastic and developing Senior and Middle Leadership team.
Requirements:
At least a bachelor’s degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
A passion for the education of students aged 11-16.
Strong knowledge surrounding the English field.
Dedication to improving the wellbeing and progression of individual students.
A natural ability for building strong, positive relationships with young people.
Previous experience of working alongside children is advantageous, but not essential.
The Role
As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting teaching staff in and out of lessons to plan and deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the national curriculum. You will assess classwork and monitor student progress to identify any extra learning needs that can be accommodated via 1-2-1 and small group support sessions. It is essential that you build strong bonds with students and staff through participation in extra-curricular activities and activities with the wider school community to create a positive learning environment.
