Do you want to help students improve confidence and attainment in English?

A Haringey secondary school is seeking an English Academic Mentor to support students across KS3 and KS4, particularly those preparing for GCSEs.

This role would suit graduates looking to gain experience before moving into teaching.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting students in English lessons and interventions
Helping students develop reading and writing skills
Supporting GCSE preparation and revision
Encouraging engagement and confidence in learningWhat they're looking for:

English or Humanities graduate preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for education and student progress
Positive and adaptable approachWhy this role?
